    Dimming of the Day, by English songwriter Richard Thompson, has
    always been a favourite song of Ruby's. The take on the song is minimalist to create a gentle flowing nature to the track.

    Track 2 in complete contrast, is a Country/Pop styled, fast paced original penned by Ruby and her son Robbie.

    Track 3 is another little insight into The Viking Bride Celtic rock musical Ruby and Robbie are currently writing; joining Ingaaryds Lament released in 2021.

Ruby Rendall's latest release has brought together a mix of Folk, Country and Celtic in one pot.

Dimming of the Day is a delicate moody song from the pen of Richard Thompson (of Fairport fame) and has always been a favourite song of mine, since I heard the Bonnie Rait version, a good few years ago now! The take on the song is minimalist to create a gentle flowing nature to the track.

He’s the Leavin' Kind is a brand new Country Pop number written by Ruby and son Robbie.

Track 3 is another little insight into The Viking Bride Celtic rock musical Robbie and I are currently writing. Praeludium, the introductory music for the musical, following Ingaaryd and her Bridal party on board their Viking longship travelling from Denmark to Orkney. Enjoy the journey!
